6 Hours at your convenience

Multisensory Math Overview
with Marilyn Zecher M.A., CALT

Tool Up your Multisensory Math Techniques this summer!

PBIDA is offering a repeat of the 6-hour Multisensory Math Workshop with Marilyn Zecher, which was offered in November 2020. This summer you can complete the 6 hours any time that works for you over a 30-day period.

Teachers, tutors, and parents will learn strategies for teaching subitizing and numeracy, place value, four basic operations, fractions, and decimal conceptions with linkages to the conceptual hierarchy of skills that impact higher math.

The workshop is recorded in four, 1½-hour segments. Plan to watch a segment, review if desired, and take a quiz for that section. Then do the next segment when convenient. You must complete all 4 segments within 30 days of starting the workshop.

The workshop sessions will be available June 1 – August 31. Participants will have 30 days from their personal start date to complete the training or until August 31, whichever comes first.

CEUs Available: Completing all 4 sessions and the quizzes for each session, earns

  • 6 Act 48 hours for Pennsylvania teachers

  • 6 CEU credits for tutors certified through ALTA, CERI, or IMSLEC accredited training.
