• Goal of the event: Build capacity across the commonwealth to meet the new regulatory and statutory requirements for teacher preparation in structured literacy.   
• Learn about: the new competencies in Structured Literacy, curriculum development, syllabi development, structured literacy pedagogy, culturally relevant instructional practices and much more
• Participants will gain practical knowledge and skills that can be directly applied toward aligning their programs to the new requirements in SL teacher preparation
• Requirements for teacher prep in SL must be met by August 1, 2023
